our history

Like diamonds passed down through generations, our trade was given to us by our parents, 40-year veterans of the jewelry industry. For Natalie, her parents’ office was a place of exploration and celebration. It was the afternoons she spent there sifting through loose diamonds and witnessing the joy their work brought to their clients that inspired her to enter the trade herself. While living in Okinawa, where her husband was stationed with the Marine Corps, Natalie discovered that military families didn’t have many options for finding trusted jewelers. So, in 2011, she decided to change that. Ledeen Diamond Co. is still a family business, working in tandem with Natalie’s father at A. Almog Diamond Co.. And we’re still dedicated to maintaining relationships with our military clients all over the world.

With her upbringing in her parents’ office as the impetus for entering the jewelry industry, Natalie’s desire to continue the tradition while changing the game has been reaffirmed many times over throughout the course of her career. When she saw a need for military families to have access to trusted jewelers who could work across continents, she began apprenticing with her father, Avner Almog. A cum laude graduate of Rice University, she learned quickly, and earned a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA, graduating top of her class. Driven to continue to help service members and to bring a young woman’s perspective to an industry whose largest demographic wasn’t represented among its practitioners, Natalie began Ledeen

Diamond Co. Today, she’s one of the few female members of the New York Diamond Dealers Club, and she continues to use her deep industry connections, her skill and creativity, and her unique perspective to serve her clients well – whether they’re investing in pieces that will last generations, or looking for a simple way to symbolize their love.

Natalie spends her personal time with the three loves of her life: her husband, Dan, her son, Elie, and her Whoodle, Baci.
